Дитяче арт-видавництво «Чорні вівці» та «Видавництво 21» беруть участь у міжнародному проєкті «Literature, War and Life – Spotlight on the contemporary literature and life of Ukraine». Він втілює та представляє європейську ідею багатомовності, єдності в різноманітності та потоку літературних творів між культурами та мовами. Проєкт має на меті забезпечити концентровану експозицію української літератури як для читачів у німецькомовних країнах, так і україномовної читацької аудиторії. Для програми, яку реалізовуватимуть дві українські та дві німецькі видавничі та громадські організації, було відібрано 20 сучасних творів українських авторів, зважаючи на їхню літературну цінність та жанрове розмаїття, а також із дотриманням ґендерної рівності.
Програма включає 11 творів, які будуть перекладені з української на німецьку. 1 книга буде перекладена з німецької на українську, а 8 залишаться в оригіналі українською мовою. Всі книги будуть розповсюджуватися в німецькомовних регіонах Європи, й особливо – для української громади біженців у Німеччині. Поширення цих книжок у країнах D-ACH забезпечить доступ українцям до сучасної літератури рідної країни.

The project Literature, War and Life – Spotlight on the contemporary literature and life of Ukraine represents and is a realisation of the European idea of multilingualism, unity in diversity and the flow of literary works between cultures and languages.We expect to be able to provide on this way a concentrated exposure of Ukrainian literature, both to readers in German-speaking countries and to the Ukrainian-language reading public.Between the turmoil of the war and the difficulties of the refugee life, it remains important for both, newcomers and their host countries, to gain an insight into the culture and literature of the Ukraine.For the program, which will be carried out by two Ukrainian and two German publishing and civile organisations, 20 contemporary works by authors from the Ukrainian-speaking region have been selected on the basis of their literary value and genre diversity, but we also aimed to create gender equality authors.
The programme includes 11 works that will be translated from Ukrainian into German, 1 book will be translated from German into Ukrainian and 8 books will stay in the original Ukrainian language. All books will be promoted and distributed in the German-speaking regions of Europe, and especially for the Ukrainian refuge community in Germany. The distribution of Ukrainian-language books in the D-ACH countries will ensure that refugees have access to the contemporary literature of their home countries.A real innovation compared to our previous practice, is that we will work during the project in a cooperation form with other publishers and a civil organisation to increase the effectiveness and impact of the publishing processes.
