"21-Publishers" is a Ukrainian publishing house that was established in March 2004. It specializes in both fiction and non-fiction literature of contemporary Ukrainian and European authors. The core idea of the publishing house is to provide Ukrainian readers with the fine literature of the acknowledged domestic and foreign authors at a reasonable price. We call ourselves "The Ukrainian publisher with global aspiration".
"21-Publishers" has profound experience in representing English, Polish, German, Swiss, Austrian, Nordic and Balkan literature in Ukrainian translation. Books of our publishing house have been repeatedly noted by various awards of regional and national scale ("Best Books of the Lviv Publishers’ Forum" in 2005 and 2009, "University Book – 2010", "Book of the Year – 2012" etc.).
"21-Publishers" also actively cooperates with the International Literary Corporation MERIDIAN CZERNOWITZ.
It is also the founder of "The Black Sheep" Publishing House for Children's Literature and Art Books. "The Black Sheep" cooperates with more than 20 writers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, USA, Great Britain, Poland and Ukraine, among which there are Erwin Moser (Austria) – the winner of numerous children's literature awards, Wolf Erlbruch (Germany) – the winner of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, Franz Hohler (Switzerland) – the winner of more than 25 literary awards, Serhiy Zhadan – one of the most famous contemporary Ukrainian writers, winner of the Leipzig Book Fair Prize and many others. "The Black Sheep" focuses its attention on books with social and psychological topics as well as those addressing problems of emotional intelligence and social responsibility. It also creates bilingual editions to help Ukrainian children learn foreign languages.
